Diana Cherkas
actor & writer
Diana is a NYC-based actor on stage, on screen, and in the voiceover booth.
Diana often gets cast as people who appear to be one way, hiding a wildly different personality underneath. In one upcoming raunchy comedy series, her "quiet but serious business woman shows us that deep down, she can bury a body if she needs to." In an hour-long drama, her sweet suburban wife and mother turned out to be a manipulative and murderous mastermind.
Whether she's playing a smart and ambitious Lawyer, hard-nosed Journalist, Millennial Mom, or Supportive Wife, her character always manages to be in charge. Diana brings humor to everything she does, both on an off screen — the subtle humor of real life, witty sarcastic banter, or full-on physical farce.
"Humor is everywhere in that there's irony in just about anything a human does." - Bill Nye

about Diana
Diana graduated of LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts (aka. the “Fame” school) and studied at Moscow Art Theatre School in Moscow, Russia, before earning her B.S. from Georgetown University in Management of Information Systems. To support her acting habit, she embraced her nerdy side as a copy editor, then copywriter, and finally creative director at advertising agencies. Much of her writing work is in pharma, for healthcare professionals, and would likely gross you out or depress you. Her favorite has been creating newsworthy podcast scripts for major national newspapers, concepting and producing original animated explainer videos, and collaborating on branding clients with brilliantly creative minds. For more about her work achievements, head over to LinkedIn.
When she's not working, which is infrequent, Diana can be found cuddling a cat, eating everything, or crafting with her family.
